Aprender eletrônica ficou fácil. Eu sempre fui interessado em eletrônica, principalmente em automatização e robótica, no entanto nunca tive muita paciência para aprender a mexer em microcontroladores. Então o Cláudio me apresentou o Arduino e tudo ficou mais fácil.
O Arduino é uma plataforma “Open Source” de prototipação eletrônica. Tanto o software como o hardware são Open Source. Ele é plugado direto na USB e os programas podem ser enviados para ele direto da IDE. Com ele é possível receber dados de sensores, como temperatura, pH e humidade. Controlar motores de passo, relés, servos, entre outros.
Por tratar-se de um hardware Open Source, existem muitos fornecedores, puxando os preços para baixo.
Ele é baseado em um microprocessadorATMEGA, possui entradas e saídas, digitais e analógicas.
Outra grande vantagem do Arduino são os “Shields” que garantem a extensibilidade do controlador. Ele possui uma interface de conexão padronizada, o que permite a criação de plaquinhas que podem ser empilhadas no arduino, sem necessidade de soldas. Como por exemplo, telas LCDs, placas de rede ou Wi-fi.
Já fiz alguns testes enviando a temperatura do aquário para a internet, com a placa de rede da foto abaixo. E agora estou esperando chegar o novo LCD colorido adaptado de um celular Nokia 5100.
